Über das Stück
„One day while walking on the hill during the lockdown time in 2020 flu a group of birds passing by. Such kinds of birds I had never seen before in this forest. This transient phenomenon, under the late afternoon sunlight together with the sounds of wind produced by leaves, inspired me to write this lyric.
The sentence ‘The Wind is touching Water’ is not a definition, neither explanation. It is a living scenery that goes and comes according to its own reasons in causes and effects, a nature karma. The music language retains the natural state of the human voice. The breeze tells a message to help us eliminate current difficulties caused by the Covid-19:

Biografie
Die chinesisch-schweizerische Komponistin und Pipa, Guqin Solistin Yang Jing lebt und arbeitet seit 2003 in der Schweiz.
Frau Yang schreibt Musik für verschiedene Formationen mit europäischen Instrumenten als auch für Orchester und Ensembles mit traditionellen chinesischen Instrumenten. Eine Besonderheit sind ihre vielseitigen Kompositionen für gemischt westlich und asiatisch instrumentierte Ensembles sowie Musik für Chor, Theater und Dokumentarfilme. Ihre Werke wurden in Europa, China, Japan und in den USA aufgeführt. 2013 bekam sie einen Werkbeitrag für Komposition des Aargauer Kuratoriums in der Schweiz. Die Aargauische Kulturstiftung Pro Argovia wählte sie als «Pro Argovia Artist 2015/16».
